Critical Please Help - Exchange mailbox restore not completing

TimothyB
Not applicable
I hope someone can help me.  I'm new to NBU and have very limited knowledge. I'm on NBU 5.1 MP7 (I know it's not supported but, I'm trying to upgrade).

I am currently in the process of restoring three Exchange mailboxes from three different tapes to three different locations.  When the restores run I get the following:

8/28/2009 2:22:18 PM - end Restore; elapsed time: 00:02:18
the requested operation was partially successful(1)

The job was successfully completed, but some files may have been
busy or unaccessible. See the problems report or the client's logs for more details.

Here's what's realted to all three.  All three stop at a byte count of 24 out of a much greater byte count.

What's going on?  Please help.
Thanks,
Tim

Can you try to send a test mail to the mailbox you are trying to restore to. Some times when you create a dummy mail box the mailbox previlages might not be set right.

Once you confirm that the mail was delivered to the mailbox please retry the restore.

there is know issue in case of exchange restores, where the patch version of the master and client should be same, this need not be same for backup.

so check if you master server and the clients are in same netbackup patch level.
