Customize Activity Monitor

Hi,

is there a way to customize the activity monitor?

What I really need is decimal dots in the "KB Per Second" and "Kilobytes" column, without it's a pain to read if you have jobs that are above a couple of GBs!

And would be nice to have a sort of treeview, where child jobs are grouped under parent jobs.

As far as my research goes, there is no customization at all?

Volker

As Nagalla has already said the only customization available is the column layout.

As far as consolidation of the AM is concerned it's a good idea that's been put forward a few times:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/ideas/activity-monitor-parent-job-all-his-children-one-row
https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/idea/activity-monitor-consolidated-view

(the latter has a status of "Already Offered" as apparently OpsCentre does this)

hi,

you only have the columns layout and sort options to custimise.. and you can also use Filter /advanced filters to get display the disired once..

  • Right click anywhere in the column header row and click Columns > Layout.

  • Click the row for the heading that you want to display (such as Job ID).

  • Use the following icons at the top of the screen to show the heading:
