Hello, we need to recover data from a 2016 annual backup. In the meantime, the file server has been migrated and the client and policy has been deleted from Netbackup. The tapes were imported yesterday and the file base is visible in the BAR.
When attempting to recover, the following error message appears: Error bpbrm (pid = 8504) client restore EXIT STATUS 58: can not connect to client.
The restore stops.
How can I recover files without client and policy?
Thank you very much and greetings

When you open BAR GUI on the master server, Click “File” and select “Specify Netbackup Machines”
You should see 3 fields here:
Server
Source Client
Destination Client
Server to be used for backups and restores will always be the master server.
Source client for restores is the client on which the backups were performed. You can click on “Edit Client List” to change the client. This list must also contain the client that you will restore to. This name must match the Client name in the Policy.
Destination client for restores is the client that you will restore to. You can click on the drop down to see a list of clients for selection.
Policy type for restores must correspond to the type of backups in the source client Policy.

In BAR GUI on the Master server, select (or type) a different Destination Client.

I specified partition K on the master server as the restore target. Where could I specify a different client?
