Decommissioning a NetBackup Media server appliance

Hi

I'm following the information given in the link below to remove an old 5220 appliance from our environment. It's a media server only as the master server is a new 5250 appliance. All the backup policies have been redirected from the 5220 to the 5250 already and all the images on the old 5220 have already expired from the MSDP (we don't have a long retention period on disk).

https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/doc/99497890-126559150-0/v81612748-126559150

So I'm ready to decommission and was planning on putting 'NONE' for the TargetMediaServer but wanted to ask if the above procedure replaces nbdecommission or if both need to be run?

It says at the bottom of the link that removing the appliance this way will not remove the disk pools and storage server entries - so these need to be done manually.... does nbdecommission do this? Should I remove these prior to running the Main_Menu > Appliance > Remove MediaServer TargetMediaServer  command?

many thanks in advance
