Hi
Please advise how do i get deduplication ratio % in activity monitor when backingup to datadomain ?
accelerator optimization only shows the perfomance.
virtual synthectics enabled in datadomain and tptex has been updated in master server

I think this is not doable - that was one of the points we decided to move off DD to NBU appliances - as there I could see the dedup rates in activity monitor... For DD I believe you would need to login to it and check the filesystem deduplication there. I believe you can try to poll more details from it per backup image - but I do not recall how it was made...

I do not have 1st-hand experience with DD in the same way as @quebek, but my logic says that NBU can only report on dedupe rates if DD is providing this info during the backup job to NBU.

You can find bad dedupes backup images on Data Domain by connection to the device usinng SSH and running command:
# filesys show compression /data/col1/{DD storage unit name} recursive no-sync
Log output to text file and import into Excel
