    Number Copies:   1
    Fail on Error:   0
    Residence:       (specific storage unit not required)
    Volume Pool:     (same as policy volume pool)
    Daily Windows:

          Friday     00:00:00  -->  Friday     24:00:00
          Saturday   00:00:00  -->  Saturday   24:00:00
  Schedule:          Daily
    Type:            Automatic Backup
    Frequency:       every 15 hours
    Synthetic:       0
    PFI Recovery:    0
    Retention Level: 1 (2 weeks)
    Daily Windows:
          Sunday     22:00:00  -->  Monday     07:00:00
          Monday     22:00:00  -->  Tuesday    07:00:00
          Tuesday    22:00:00  -->  Wednesday  07:00:00
          Wednesday  22:00:00  -->  Thursday   07:00:00
          Thursday   22:00:00  -->  Friday     07:00:00

Any chance this backup is being initiated from your client instead of your Master server?  My only experience with the Default-Application-Backup schedule was with a client that had an Oracle agent installed.  That was the schedule  name used for the DBA initiated backups.
