We are doing backup on a SAN, and I notice even though I expire the backup it didn't free up any space. Is there anything else need to be done in order to free up space. My master and media are windows server.

What type of SAN-attached device are you backing up to? Tape or disk? If disk - basic, advanced or dedupe?

It's disk, and we are doing dedupe.

Image expiration and disk cleanup works totally different on dedupe disk.
