Hi All 

 

Can any body explain me the difference between process and deamons in netbackup

I would say that a daemon is a process that runs all the time, for example bpdbm, nbjm, nbemm ...

A process is something that is started and runs once, then stops, for eample bptm.

A service is the windows name for a daemon
