Disk Staging and Netbackup 6.0mp7

I have noticed that the duplication of my Disk Storage Unit. is sometime not really that  efficient. I'm using 1.6 TB LTO 4's and current it will take 3 or 4 tapes to back up 4 TB's of data.  One of them only had like 254mb of data on it,

Is there anything settings I tweak to make the Duplication use more of the individual tapes?

You probably have different retention levels for the backup images. if you do then each retention level requires its own tape. see if you can get a single retention level.

BTW: here is an excellent technote on disk staging:

But anyway, have you looked at manually duplicating these images to tape via the Catalog/Duplicate action?

well the Retention level of all my jobs is the same. but I think from reading that Excellent article you sent me. I need to set the Staging_job_kb_limit. to match the size limit of the data on my DIsk Staging Unit. Does that sound correct?
