Unfortunately, no.

We have no more tapes.

We backupen data on domain. I do not know exactly how this image from the media server can moven to another.

You opening post says the following:

I would like to break down a media server.

If this means that you want to remove this media server from NBU, we call it 'decommission'.

See 2nd link in Nicolai's post.

This TN explains what nbdecommission does (same for Windows an Unix):

Sorry, I don't understand what this means:

You've already used the command nbdecommission in 7.5.0.1. i have heard that this command is not opitmal lower 7.1.x

Are you asking if I have used it?
We have successfully used the downloads for version 6.5.x and also with the built-in version in 7.1.

I have not 'heard' anything bad or seen any documentation saying that there is a problem....

nbdecommission has been introduced as separate downloads in NBU 6.5 and 7.0.

This utility is included in NetBackup 6.5.6 and 7.x Releases.

NetBackup 7.0: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH130438
NetBackup 6.5.5: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH125456
NetBackup 6.5.4: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH125193
NetBackup 6.5.3: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH125192

Hope this helps.....
