Does BMR restore recovery partition?

mndbnbp
Level 3

Hi

I am currently testing BMR in NetBackup 9.1.0.1 environment.

When I checked the disk view from the configuration  of the client to be restored from the BMR Restore Client,

the recovery partition is not displayed.

The EFI system partition is visible.

Will BMR restore the recovery partition in this case?

510.6816MB free space is originally the recovery partition.

However, it is displayed as free space.

The backup targets are

All_Local_Drives

SystemState

ShadowCopy Compornents.

Is there a mistake in selecting the backup target?

Describe how the environment is in detail.

■Master Server & Client

  • OS: Windows Server 2019 std
  • Version: 9.1.0.1

Thanx

Hello

I think NBU does not do it either with or without BMR - such partition is rather not having assigned drive letter - so bpbkar cant really access it as it is only backing up files/foders from mounted drives (assigned letters).

I do hope this clear your doubt.
