Duplication fail with "Requested machine is not configured in NetBackup"

While duplicating the old images the duplication job fails with below error..

Tell us about the ' old images'.

Tapes written by a media server that is no longer in the envronment?
By the looks of it,  not properly decommissioned?

It seems to me as if NBU is looking for old media server in order to mount source tape, but cannot find it.

If this is the case, change change ownership of all media and images written by old media server to 'current' media server:
bpimage -oldserver <old-server> -newserver <new-server>

Thanks for your comments ,

After executing the above command we are facing below error.

Note: Backup moved to tape with MSEO option enabled and currently MSEO status is activie. We have added recently the SIZE_DATA BUFFERS with value 262144.

Let me know this makes any issue or not.?

Please tell us :

What type of encryption do you use  - only MSEO or do you have library encryption as well ?

Status 85 = media read error. Do you see SCSI sense errors in event viewer/syslog ?

We need to know if this is a real media read error thrown by tape drive or a logical error because the data structure is unknown (encrypted).

So, if I understand correctly, the bpimage command solved the 'Requested machine is not configured in NetBackup' error?

If this is the case, then the status 85 is a new a different issue and should be a new discussion.
