Hi All,
We have duplication jobs have queued up evethough we have scratch tapes available. I can see library also online. I don't see any error code . Please advise what could be the issue.
Master and Media server - nb5220
Tape library - TS3310

Yes - I agree with Marianne, check the reason for the queueing. Many times there are limits on number of streams the storage unit can handle. I would also recommend you check netbackup/db/media/drives on the media server in question for stale files. Stale files in this location will prevent drives from being used within the storage unit.
The files are clear text, first check the date on the file. If it's not current, cat the contents. There is a PID listed in the file - run ps -ef | grep <pid> If the pid isn't active on the system, simply remove the file.
If neither of those work, please provide us the version of NBU and the detailed status of the jobs that are queued.
