During the update process of NetBackup 8.0 to NetBackup 9.0.0.1. error occurred:

During the update process of NetBackup 8.0 to NetBackup 9.0.0.1, the following error occurred: The C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\var\global\i_nbdbinfo.dat and C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\var\global\wsl\config\web.conf files were updated independently. The i_nbdbinfo.dat file was modified after the web.conf file. This test runs when you upgrade the NetBackup master server from 8.0 to a later version. This test checks for a match between the web services (nbwmc) update time and the NetBackup database (nbdb) update time. Specifically, it checks the time stamp of the web.conf file and the i_nbdbinfo.dat file. The times must either match or the web.conf file can have a later update time. Refer to the following article for more details:

error sends us to the following link for solution https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100045508.

However when trying to run the command: install_path\NetBackup\bin\nbdb_admin -dba new_password. produces the following message: "nbdb_admin: You must be Security Administrator to execute"

and we are executing command as administrator.

Hello, first for the nbdb_admin, are you using nbac? try to login using bpnbat -login first then retry.

take a look at this: https://vox.veritas.com/t5/NetBackup/Upgrade-from-NetBackup-8-1-to-8-1-1-is-failing/td-p/851788

for the upgrade, there were a lot of changes between the versions, so try to upgrade first to 8.3 (for example) then try later to 9.0.0.1.
