EMC Celerra NS480 support for NBU 7.5

Hi

Can anyone confirm support for the Celerra NS480 with NetBackup 7.5 for direct NDMP backups? I can see that EMC 'celerra series' is in the latest HCL which can only be a good thing but as the NS480 is quite old now and most people running with NS480 have NBU 6.x I didn't want to jump to conclusions that support for 7.5 is valid. I did also read in an EMC document only NBU 7.1 was supported  - but again this is an old EMC doc and may not have been updated since 7.5 was released.

My view is that Symantec work on major releases and therefore if 7.1 is supported then 7.5 will also support the NS480 as the HCL works on 7.x and not minor releases.....

That particular post is Marianne discussing support for the EMC Centera.

The EMC Celerra is still in the 7.x HCL so I'm hopeful support will still be ok

As per 7.x HCL: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH76495  these OS versions are supported on EMC Celera (regardless of hardware model):

DART 5.1, DART 5.2,

DART 5.3, DART 5.4,

DART 5.5, DART 5.6,

DART 6.0
