EMC Replication Manager (RM) integration with NetBackup

Hello,

I’m looking for a way to integrate EMC Replication Manager with NetBackup:
1. Should NetBackup call Replication Manager or should Replication Manager call NetBackup?
2. If a snapshot bis taken by Replication Manager fails, how can NetBackup be notified not to run
    the backup?
3. How can I keep: Yearly, Monthly & Daily backups?

EMC Replication Manager (ERM) calls netbackup, via running commandline netbackup commands to kick of the required policy (with required retention, etc) as a post replication script. If the replication fails the backup script is not run.
ERM is the scheduler here so if a job fails you won't see any job or any errors in NetBackup so you need to ensure ERM is also monitored or configured to alert on failures.

How would the netbackup call look like ? will it be bpbackup commands using veritas netbackup client .. Can someone provide a sample script to call netwbackup from ERM
