And recently started to receive the following:

The following messages are in the log:

bpdbm staging database files
bpdbm staging NBDB backup
bpdbm completed and validation is successfull

requesting resource Catalog

requesting resource SERVERNAME

Error nbjm (pid=342) NBU status 800

EMM status disk volume down

resource request failed

Disk Log: Volume Catalog:converted60_1 is down (not ok on root)

Possible causes?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Have you tried this yet?

The option "This directory can exist on the root file system or system disk" need to be checked on the Storage Unit Disk properties.

it could be that the filesystem is not mounted..

U can run the df -k <filesystem> to chk if it is properly mounted...

if it throws an error, get the FS mounted and then fire the backup again.

Start by checking properties of STU:

bpstulist -label <STU-name> -l

Check on the media server that volume is mounted and has enough space.

As per above posts - if STU parameters says 'not OK on root', the folder specified in STU properties must be a seperate volume and must be mounted.

PS:

Are you aware of the fact that NBU 6.5.x ran out of support over a year ago?
