Email alerts in netbackup

Hi All,

I have scheduled the teradata backup in NETBACKUP plocies. I want active server to send alerts during time of start and end(failure/success). Could you please let me know how I can setup this in nbu. netbackup installed in windows 8 machine not unix.

Please share all relevant info such as NBU version and OS on the Master/Media server.
Windows 8 is not supported as master or media server.

Hi Marianne,

NBU version is 7.6.1.1 and master and Media server is installed in Windows server 2008 R2 enterprise.

You can download, install and configure blat as email client on NBU master/media server.
