Encrypt in duplicate?

Hi guys,

IHAC that wants to encrypt his data meanwhile he duplicates the backup image for vaulting purposes. Is it possible?

Tape based or disk based ?

When is the encryption about to happe - client, media server or at the tape drive level ?

Using drive encryption; duplicate the images using vault to encryption capable drive(s) after having setup the appropriate ENCR_pool and encryption keys.

The encryption is supposed to happen at the media server when the duplication profile starts. It's a tape duplication for vaulting purposes.

I think that Thesanman answered the question. I've got the same answer from our TSO team.
