Hi all,
after Netbackup client upgrade (used Vxupdate) from 8.2. to 9.1.0.1 there is stuck process nbinstallagent.exe, that generates huge log file with the following content:
10:41:07.000 [27296] <2> (CLEANUP) Working in directory [C:\Veritas\NetBackup\Temp\nbprechecker_9.1.0.1_windows_x64.sja.sja.extracted\bin]
10:41:07.000 [27296] <2> (CLEANUP) Error [-1] when removing directory [C:\Veritas\NetBackup\Temp\nbprechecker_9.1.0.1_windows_x64.sja.sja.extracted\bin].Errno [41] : Directory not empty.
What to do to prevent this from happening (again)?
Any suggestions much appreciated!

this happen due to the old sja file form 8.2 still lying there in temp location
C:\Veritas\NetBackup\Temp\nbprechecker_8.2*
you have to remove these files before running the deployment policy . or As soon you remove the 8.2 sja file from the temp location, your job will complete successfully

Hi @Azhar4 , thank you for your contribution. Veritas support told us, that there is a new package for Netbackup client upgrade to 9.1.0.1, that can fix the issue with hanging process (nbinstallagent.exe) as well.

wow... we had to do tht workaround during our entire upgrade activity.
