Error 1719: Windows installer service could not be accessed while installing client

Hi,

My envirnment is: Master & media windows 3008, Netbackup agent 7.0.1.

I want to install netbackup agent 7.0 at windows 7 machine

I faced a problem of Error 1719: Windows installer service could not be accessed while installing client

Could anybodyhelp me to resolve the problem?

You need to speak to your local IT support : " Error 1719.The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance." This is a Windows issue. Have you verified that you have Local Admin rights? Is UAC turned off?

I have just noticed the following:

This 32-bit application cannot be installed on a 64-bit system. Insert the 64-bit CD-ROM and restart the install.

Can you confirm that you are using the correct installation media?
