People I receive this error all time when I try to backup a Windows 2008 client.
I dont know what can be wrong. PLEASE HELP

We ping the client from the master server, Respond Fine.
We can view the clients properties from the NBU Console in the Master Server.
We call the client using  Telnet from my master to my client and respond fine.

What can Be wrong??? No Firewalls are active. Help Pls. Thanks

Could be a bad install, is this new?  has it ever worked?
Try to install again.
as it could be a bad bptm

I can see it is a 2008 server but is it R2 or not
and what version of NB are you running, as 2008 started worked on 6.5.3 and 2008 R2 started support on 6.5.5.

Hello
Im install the client using the RUn as Administration option. Im currently on 6.5.5
We uninstall and re install the software, Same Issue.
Windows are 2008 SP1 (Not R2)

You are getting 'Connecting' but not 'Connected' in Job details.
Please create bpcd log on client and retry the backup.
Look for errors in bpcd log.

People Just a simple RESTART OMG!!!
I just restart the server and the backup was running. OMG I dont undestand But its working.
