Error 84 and status “normal” in the same time

SRV master - 2016

I have 2-3 policies, which completed with zero status in the Activity monitor, and with error 84 in log (and in e-mail)

In the job overview, it is look like

 1: (84) media write error

2: (0) the requested operation was successfully completed

The are no errors in the detailed status, only

05.04.2018 7:05:40 - Info bptm EXITING with status 0 <----------

However, there are one another problem – the backup size is 6kb, it is definitely not normal size for backup, this size should be near 150Gb

There are two servers in this policy – and I can see only first server in this log.

Moreover, I have same error for some VM backup task (Vmware backup)

I see 2 backup attempts:

Attempt 1:  (84) media write error

Attempt 2: (0) the requested operation was successfully completed

You should be able to select each individual attempt in Job details and see which media id and tape drive produced the status 84 error.

Chances are that a different piece of media was used for attempt 2 that completed successfully.

AA!!! It is "Attempt" field in the up/left corner in the Detailed  status. Yes, I found it and see error.

I still do not understand, where this job start anything with second server, but I did second policy for second server, and it should help
