Error code 23 in netbackup

Hi,

I have configured file level backup for CCTV server, now i am getting error code 23 (Socket read failed).

I have collect the following BPCD logs from client side:

Your client received a connection request from IP address 10.37.4.68.

It was unable to resolve it to a hostname that exists in its SERVER list (added during installation).

If you are using DNS, verify that reverse lookup is enabled. Else, add hosts entry for the master/media server.

thanks for suggestion,

Setup is existing since June 2010 and it was working perfectly till last week, error is coming in recently weekly fullbackup.

Reverse lookup is also enabled on DNS.

I'm with marianne, you almost certainly have a network issue, not a NetBackup issue. Try running nbdna, should be on netbackup/bin/suppott Martin
