Hello,
My Netbackup version is 7.1 and installed on Windows Server 2008 R2 Ent. Ed.
When I try to restore a client machine, i get this error:
Can you please tell me what is the problem??

What does the BMR RST log say on the master server:
Unix:
/usr/openv/netbackup/logs/bmrrst/log.<date>
Windows:
<installPath>Veritas\\NetBackup\logs\bmrrst\<date>.log

Just to make my log file clear,
It's about three attempts, that failed because of DNS resolution.
And the last lines are about my current error.

3 DEBUG mergeconfigs.cpp:MergeConfigs() Could not match disks, rc=1001
3 DEBUG CWindowsRestoreStrategy.cpp:configureDisks() Disk configuration step failed.
It looks like the destination host has diffrent disk layout than the source. If that is the case you need additional steps before a BMR restore will works , see tech note below:
