I am running 7.1.0.4 on both master and notes client.

In the bpbkar log on the client seeing the following errors that seem to be slowing down NBU:

Has anyone seen this issue before. I have searched for any information and have come up with a big goose egg.

DISCLAIMER: I know absolutely nothing about any of this stuff but I'm a fair researcher

DAOS (Domino Attachment and Object Service) is a Notes 8.5 thing (says Google).

Open Mic Q&A: Implementing Domino Attachment and Object Service (DAOS) - 16 June 2010
 http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21432989

I am strongly inclined to say this isn't a NetBackup thing, but I have a few questions:

What's the version of Domino?
What's the architecture of the master and client?
Are you sure they are supported?

AND have you looked at this TechNote already?

Using NetBackup to Protect Lotus Domino Servers that are configured to use the Domino Attachment and Object Services (DAOS)

Domino is 8.5.3

Architecture - Master - Windows 2003 x64

                     Client - Windows 2003 R2 SP2

Compatibility chart shows it is supported and we are able to backup but the messages seen in bpbkar are causing the backup to be extremely slow.

I searched endlessly on Symantec support site and google and found nothing. Thanks for the links.

Also I asked the customer (that this issue is associated) and they do not use DAOS.
