Exchange 2010 Clustered and NetBackup

All the experts out there, I am new with Symantec solutions of Clustering and Netbackup

I have managed to cluster 2 nodes of Exchange 2010.

the clustering guide of Exchange 2010 does not allow you to configure DAG neither Virtual Name whereas what I have came to know is that previously in Exchange 2003 clustering guide we use to configure DAG and Virtual Name. Further while we use to backup from Exchange Database we used to give Virtual Name in backup selection which used to communicate with DAG and allow Netbackup to identify database to backup.

Kindly help how to cater this situation in the case of Exchange 2010

Thanks

Exch 2010 has dag/virtual name. I back up my dag via its virtual name, dag1 ( inventive!) and the passive nodes, which I name. It works just fine.

Its all good in nb75 and beyond I think, but some of this of course relies on your exchange data being a dag: maybe your cluster is not the same as my cluster, leading to it not being a dag in your case? One for Exchange admins there, certainly.
