Exchange GRT Backup

According to Netbackup 7.0 compatibility list win2k3 R2 O.S required for  exchange GRT backup  client as well as  Media server side.

But we have Win2003 Ent. SP2 O.S. on exchange (2k3) server. Plz let me know any other workaround for exchange GRT backup for this environment .

hi,

 

You can simply run the r2 component installation on your 2003 ent (I believe its a seperate downloadable install). It will turn it into a Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise. I've had one of my clients do it, it works!
