In Document ID 271858 is written, that one should create two Exchange policies to backup a Exchange instance. Example:
1. Policy: Microsoft Information Store:\ 2. Policy: Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes:\ Microsoft Exchange Public Folders:\
1. Can these two policies (resp. their backup jobs) run at the same time or will there be a sort of race condition between the backup of the Microsoft Information Store:\ and the backup of the Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes:\ if run at the same time ?
If this two backup jobs has to run in sequence, is there a way to force a backup job sequence such as
1. Backup job <1. Policy / Microsoft Information Store:\>
2. then when the above backup job has finished, start
Backup job <2. Policy: Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes:\> Backup job <2. Policy: Microsoft Exchange Public Folders:\> ?

I agree to Mayur's second policy proposal. I have been doing my exchange backup like that for a couple of months and so far I have not noticed any problems.
Unfortunately, the veritas docu is not very clear.
