Exclude List Ignored

Master Server :- Linux 7.1

Client :- Windows 2008 R2 (7.1)

Issue :- Exlcude List Ignored

Exclude List placed :- ( All policies -- All Schedule - E:\ )

Policy :- Backup Selection :- ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES

Allow Multistreaming :- Yes

Backup job of E:\ still running.

Client Bpbkar Logs :-

Searched so far :-  Etrack 2152911 but it is for 7.0.1. Will it work for 7.1

Did you do a version upgrade recently?

Commonly when you come to a new version, the Exclude list from the older version do not work. You need to set up again to work.

Previously it was 6.5.6  . At that time Exclude_List was not working. I upgraded to 7.1 and tried testing 3-4 times by changing different exlude list . But everytime same message "exclude list is ignored "

It's fixed in 7.1.0.2.  We'll need to update the TechNote.

You should probably apply 7.1.0.3 instead of an EEB, but if you want an EEB for 7.1, open a case with us, reference TECH150101 and Etrack 2433847 and request an escalation for an EEB.  Be ready to send your TSE your bpbkar log excerpt matching the issue.
