Hi all,

My environment:

-NetBackup 7.6.0.4

-using SLP

-setup Advancedisk

-high water mark 90% and low wtermark 80%

Now, my backup jobs failed due to disk full.Found the expired data still available in disk.

How can i free this space?

Is your disk big enough to hold backups as per retention in SLP?

Can you see that duplication to tape is completing successfully?

With SLP, images on disk is not expired automatically as with Basic Disk Staging.
Images are cleaned up as per SLP configuration (provided duplication has been successful).

A good option with disk backups in SLP is configure the disk backup with 'Try to keep' retention instead of fixed retention.

This setting will clean up duplicated backups when high water mark is reached.
