FCP services on NetApp to backup NDMP Netbackup

Dear all,

Quick question, should i start FCP services in NetApp to backup NDMP via FC?

I already config NetApp as NDMP host and detect Robotic Tape Library via NDMP host.

Since you are able to Detecte the Netapp attached robot library that would be fine

have compleated the configuarion from netbackup end also?

What configuration for specific? Backup storage policy? I have done that

Config in NBU means you need to add credentials, add devices, add STU, add policy.

Dear Marianne,

Thanks for the reference, we are doing local NDMP backup and already config all listed configuration. Recently i trying to gather LAN and FC connection report from NetApp devices and SAN Switch. To make sure that data is backup trough FC.

LAN switch reports and FC switch reports should confirm.

If all is configured correctly in NBU, there is no reason to believe data transfer is NOT as per configuration.
