FT Server connection loss

Hi,

I have a RH Linux (kernel 2.5) SANClient working fine backing up thru SAN. When kernel was upgraded to 3.10, FT server connection was loss with NBU Appliance. ARCHIVE Python devices are still there.

NBU ver 8.1.2

I tried the following several times but no luck,

- rescan san client

- disable/enable sanclient  via bpclntcmd

- rescan devices from Linux OS

- restart NBU Client Agent

- review fabric zoning - OK

I've attached some screenshots.

Any idea is most welcome.

Hello,

how is the problem manifested? Backup jobs are queued/failing? If failing then with which status?

Backups via LAN are working?

Regards

Backup jobs are completing fine via LAN though a little slow than usual SAN backup.

It is this slowness that I noticed it's not taking via SAN.

It was running fine with SAN backup, then next succeeding schedules it was via LAN. One thing that I could account was the OS update made from RHEL 2.5 to 3.10.

No backup jobs failing or queueing, they're completing just fine except for a little slowness.

Hello,

when you force SAN transport only, what happened? (SAN Client Usage Preferences = Always)

Regards

Michal
