Hey

can you please share the outcome from

bpps -x

Is the master sever able to ping itself? How about hostname resolution?

Hi @Vedamurthy_G

what queback sait.

Since you are on 7.5 need to verify if the service pbx_exchange is running and listening on port 1556.

Is it a separate service, lather version of Netbackup it was included.

PBX everything is fine and its standalone master server

Make sure EMMSERVER in bp.conf/registry is correct.

stop all the services,

run /usr/openv/db/bin/nbdbms_start_server -start

run /usr/openv/db/bin/dbping < ensure DB is up>

then run /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/nbemm &

run /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbemmcmd -listh < see if you can get output> , otherwise check the emm logs
