Failed to install ICS to system.(VRTSicsco)

HI all,

 I've got some problem on installation of the ICS. i was failed to install "VRTSicsco" on the system when i started the PBX installation.

 Error message as below:

[ERROR: VRTSicsco failed to install to your system : xxxxx]

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

 Our system: Solaris 10 , new installation of NBU.

Are you using the right install?  There is a Intel version and a Sparc version.

Its only show it is failed, but i can't find a solution to solve this problem.

 My platform is Sun Solaris 10.

Troubleshooting:
Collect the /opt/VRTS/install/installpbx log file from the master or media server that you are installing PBX.  Review this file for the error and the location of the install process log.  The location of the install process log should be logged in /var/tmp/installics-xxxxxx/

Resolution:
Ensure all filesystems in the /etc/mnttab file are properly mounted on the server.  If there are invalid filesystems in the /etc/mnttab file, comment these filesystems out.  Then try the installation again.

Hi,

Other than, /etc/mnttab issue, I have seen ICS behaves wierdly if you try to install from an NFS location.

If you are not installing directly from CD, copy the ICS binaries to a local directory and then run the install from there.
