Does bpbkar log folder exist on the client?

Have you checked if anything is logged in bpbkar?

The error in the TN is not quite the same, but probably worth a try to reinstall client software.

Hi Marianne,

I can't see the folder, should it be created here?

C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\logs

If so will services need restarting?

I'm currently re-running the job following client uninstall\reinstall.

Thanks.

Correct - create bpbkar folder in NetBackup\logs directory.

No need to restart services.

Logging should start next time a backup runs on the client.

Check folder for log file next time the backup fails.
