Hello All,
I wanna be sure if it is possible to backup a ZFS file system as flash backup olicy.
Master server - Solaris 10, NBU - 7.1.0.4
The mount is on a client server which is also solaris10 with 7.1.0.4 NBU.
Thanks in advance.

Unfortuntaely, I don't believe we support it.
ZFS isn't listed anywhere in the over 300 pages of the "OSes | Solaris 10" subsection in our compatibility guide:
We also have a bullet in this TechNote:
■ FlashBackup supports the following I/O system components: ufs, VxFS, and Windows NTFS file systems, VxVM volumes and LVM volumes, and raw disks. Other components (such as non-Veritas storage replicators or other non-Veritas volume managers) are not supported.
In this case, I believe ZFS falls under the "non-Veritas volume manager" definition.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Thanks Chris,
I also checked all that stuff, and wanted an expert's view on the same. Once again thanks.
