Full backup files were deleted automatically

Hi,

I am using NBU 7.7.3 on linux server including master and client.

I did full backup of my linux client for several times and the files were saved on master server's disk.

But I found that only the latest backup files were there and the files backed up before were gone. I didn't delete them manually.

Does anyone know what's wrong?

Regards,

Lacey

What is the retention for the backup you took? Check the schedule for the retention level

WHen you say files wee deleted, which files ?  The actual data on the STU, or the 'catalog entries'.

For the backuid (if you know it) :

(1) Does bpimagelist show anything  (bpimagelist -backupid <backupid>

(2)  If the data is on advanced of basic disk.  IF you look in the STU directly, d you see any files with the 'ctime' of the backupid as part of the filename.

The actual data on the STU.

I don't know the backup id.

Check GUI reports or cmd for Backup Status and Client Backup for this client for the last 2 weeks.

cmd:
bperror -backstat -client client_name -d 05/02/2018
bpimagelist -client client_name -d 05/02/2018 -U

Let us know what you see.

Hello,

the problem is confusingly formulated. Please attach relevant printscreens before and after backup, to be clear which "files" you mean.

Michal
