Are you able to copy files from the Master server to the share ?
What is the Netbackup service set to on the master server ?
Have you tried to delete and recreate the cifs share ?

IF the above does not work :
1) What antivirus do you use ?
2) Are there errors in the event viewer ?

Seems server lost network connectivity to disk storage somewhere between 3:33 AM and 5:58 AM:
05:58:16.110 [4192.3420] <4> risdelwip1: STSImageManager: LSU \\D8MKXC2S\Dell_Storage does not exist.
Anything in bptm log before 5:58 AM?

Maybe it's a NBU time out. It simply waiting for a busy disk STU(?)

Thank you all for the response.
Symantec Antivirus is been installed.
I checked with the event viewer there are no errors. Also checked with the technote you provided. But as per the technote there are some errors generated in event logs but in this case there are no errors. Still we will try to apply the hotfix.
Between 3:33 AM and 5:58 AM: It seems that bptm is writing the data with no issue.
please see below bptm messages. It writes till 5:55:22.796 and at 5:58 error occurs.
05:55:22.702 [4192.3420] <2> EndpointSelector::performCallUsingEndpoint: invocation->perform_call(...) SUCCESS(Endpoint_Selector.cpp:1012)
I have attached bptm logs. Do we required any other logs for further troubleshooting? Even i suspect that connecivity was lost because when trying the same job it failed with Network read error. So it can be a network issue.
So should we increase client read timeout?

I have released your first post.
For some or other reason the spam filter blocked your post.
It sometimes does that when a number of URLs appear in the post (links to our user profiles).
We will look at the log shortly, but it's a good idea to get your network admins involved. Let them monitor network connectivity while the backup is running.

Hello Dyneshia,
Thank you for the reply.
The master and media servers were same and we tried deleting the cifs share and recreated it and it worked fine for 2 days.
But after making some network changes and increasing the client read timeout and empted some space on C drive everything is working fine.
Thank you all for the help..
As a test, delete and recreate the cifs share. Copy files from the Master server to the share. Do they copy successful or do they fail ?
Question, what is the Netbackup service set to on the master server ?
