Solved: Global Exclude List

Hi

I want to exclude install folder under windows root directory for 100 clients which are all in one single policy

do we need to create global exclude list for entire policy rather than each client ?

You cannot create a global exclude list but you can select all clients under Cliet Host Properties and hit Enter and then once all have loaded (takes a while) you can add the exclude and click OK and it will apply it to all of them

You could also push a registry edit out using AD - HKLM\Software\veritas\netbackup\currentversion\config\

"exclude" key

Just be careful as if any have specific exclude for certain policies you also need to deal with them
