Hello all, I'm trying my best to setup an NDMP backup to an Hitachi NAS appliance. I'm having issues setting up the directives associted with backing these up. I can have the credentials setup and can see the host. I alse tested with tpautocong -verify and all looks good. Anyone have any experience with setting these up?
Thanks Gurus!!!!!!

Only ever used NetApp which is pretty straightforward.
Looking at the following pdf there are some "special" requirements for 2 different Hitachi "platforms", maybe something there that will assist:

Did you manage to get your directives working?
If not, maybe you could provide us with more info on what you are trying.....

Hi Mik,
You have to put the File system paths: in the backup selection,.
As this tpautoconfig -verify Filername, command is only to test your credential rights.
But for backup selection, you have to put proper file system path, especially in NDMP.
i give you the example is file systems:
/root_vdm_1/v20_fs0abc
/root_vdm_2/v20_fs0xyz
This is different for diferent filer box.
