Holding a TLD drive in idle status to a specific Backup

Hi,

I´m looking for a way to maintain a TLD drive in idle status to issue a backup. 

It´s a special case where I need issue a backup as fast as possible.

Do you want to dedicate one tape drive for a single client ?

Step1 :Create a new storage unit with max conucuurent drives as 1.

Goto storage-and create Storage Unit.

Step2: edit the existing(old) storage unit max concurrent drives based on the above.

Step 3:Create a policy for this client and assign the new storage unit while configuring..

its like you need to have the 2 storage units.. onc is with the max concurent drives as N( N= total number of Drives connected to the Media server) or just 1 concurent Drives.   --->STU 1

and the another one is with the max condurent Drives as N-1.  ---->STU2

and assing the STU1 to the policy that you what to have a dedicated Drive

and assing STU2 to the rest of the policies.

for expample :- the media server that you want to use for the backup have the 10 Tape drives configured.

STU1 --->Max concurent Drvies as 10    --> assing to the special case policy.

STU2:- Max condurent Drives as 9
