I believe the image backup, there must be dirt, causing the file to become inaccessible.

Analyzing the log bpbdm, I observed the following:

=-=-=-=-=-

V_CatBackupWin::V_StartCatBackupDirective: ERR - Unable to expand hot catalog backup directive: CATALOG_BACKUP_TIR "client" Inteiro_Teor_1296364065_FULL

V_CatBackupWin::V_StartCatBackupDirective: ERR - Unable to expand hot catalog backup directive: CATALOG_BACKUP_TIR "client" Migra_Estacao1_1294974004_INCR

V_CatBackupWin::V_StartCatBackupDirective: ERR - Unable to expand hot catalog backup directive: CATALOG_BACKUP_TIR "client" Arquivos_1295657983_FULL

Any idea what might be happening?

Thanks!

I see the log bpbkar and thought:

V_CatBackupWin::V_ExpandCatalogBackupDirective: ERR - db_getImgBackupList failed, err: 12. Client: dionisio, Image ID: Inteiro_Teor_1296364065_FULL

V_CatBackupWin::V_ExpandCatalogBackupDirective: ERR - db_getImgBackupList failed, err: 12. Client: macae, Image ID: Migra_Estacao1_1294974004_INCR

V_CatBackupWin::V_ExpandCatalogBackupDirective: ERR - db_getImgBackupList failed, err: 12. Client: pitagoras, Image ID: Arquivos_1295657983_FULL

I removed the references informed and ran the Catalog policy.

The result was SUCESS. The catalog backup exit with status 0.

These references moved, I kept a folder for retrieval in case it is necessary.

Thanks.

You say you have 'tried' the post that you quoted - what exactly have you tried? The first TN in Andy's post: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH86295  says that corrupt headers must be removed. Have you done that? This one too: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH56570

Before just deleting image files, please run 'bpdbm -consistency' first as explained in this TN: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH7334

If you feel uncomfortable about removing/deleting image files, you might want to log a Support call as recommended in option 3 of above TN: "Symantec NetBackup Support should be engaged if there are questions about this procedure."
