From the manual:

About the Global Attributes properties

Details:

About the Global Attributes properties

he Global Attributes properties apply to currently selected master servers. The Global Attributes properties affect all operations for all policies and clients. The default values are adequate for most installations but can be changed.

This property determines whether restore jobs have priority over other types of jobs in contention for drives. The higher the value, the higher the priority that restore jobs have. The default is 99999.

Decrease the "maximim concurrent write drives" in the STU configuration to 0 and kill /suspend active jobs for that media server.

By decreasing the concurrent number of tape drives to 0 you ensure no new backup select that media server and you can restore without stress.

Thanks for the response. Is there any way to change the priority of a restore job through the nbrb.conf file?
