How to backup a SQL database schema and recover that schema ?

May I know whether anyone has any experience backing up a SQL database schema and only recovering that database schema ? If yes, please be kind to advice how it can be done ?

I was reading the Netbackup SQL 7.7.2 admin guide, I only saw a brief mention like this :

To recover your database schema use the NetBackup
MS SQL Client to restore your latest backup of the master database.

Hello,

you cannot backup/restore MS SQL database schema (so group of all objects under a SQL account) directly. It is similar that you cannot backup/restore a certain table/tables directly.

What you can do is restore of the whole database into alternate db and then copy the database schema from restored db to original db by SQL means.

Actually, I dont understand the note about a master database backup below.
