Level 3

I wanted to take backup as BasicDisk on Local Disk(Disk located where NBU installed). I am using NBU on Linux. NBU version is 8.0. Can someone suggest me steps to take backup on Local Disk.

Any help will be useful.

I have tried to get you to look it up in the manual.
That is how we all learned.

I also tried to point out to you what is causing the 'disk down' error.
It is because 'Ok on boot' is not selected in STU config.

The Admin Guide will also give you best practice for Basic Disk - such as using a separate volume. Preparation (as per the manual) is the key to success.

With backup storage on the same drive as OS and NBU, you run the risk of filling up the C-drive and cause corruption.

For a pure test environment, select OK on boot.

Thanks Marianne,

I found how to set up from manual. Got the idea.
