Hi,
Envrionemnt: NetBackup 7.5.0.4 on Solaris 10
Every week, I run an simple script to figure out which tapes are full and I export the full tapes to send offsite. However, sometimes the jobs run for a long time so it's possible that a long-running job writes to tape #1, #2, and while still writing to #3, I happen to run the script which determines tape #1 and #2 are full. So I export tape #1 and #2 but the job later fails which essentially make the fragments on #1 and #2 invalid. I'd like to modify the script so that it will exclude tape #1 and #2 above, that is, if the associated job for full tapes is still running, the script expcludes them. Is it possible?
thanks,

Possible? though might be too complicated (check for active jobs, determine backup id, check full tapes for same backup id).
Easier to hold off exporting tapes until all backups are complete.
