How to migrate Solaris master server into Windows Master server.
we are having one setup in solaris , another setup in Windows 2008 R2. so we wanted to migrate servers to single. we are planing to Windows 2008 R2 server in that NetBackup 7.5 version is installed and in solaris NetBackup 6.5 is installed.
Can any one tell me the process of migrating the servers.

I just asked my hampster (his name is Hammy) he also confirmed that you have to use a Symantec partner.
Actually, he said "squeek squeek", but I have translated ...

More seriously, it is impossible to do this without the exact instructions/ scripts. Any attempt to try this will result in a very very broken system, and very possibly data loss.

Catalog recovery across primary platform(one is UNIX/Linux, and another is Windows) is not supported.
Some Symantec Partners(let's say Top Gun) can provide such servic with assistance of Symantec, users can not do it themselves.

if migration target is UNIX/Linux, you can migrate from Solaris yourself following the instructions of this document.
