I would log on to the client and
1. create entry in the local hosts file for the master and ALL media servers.
2. stop netbackup service
3. regedit the servers listing making sure the master is listed first
4. ensure the client name in the registry is correct
5. start netbackup serfice
6 test ping and then telnet to the master and media servers.
7. check static routes
I would log on the master and media servers
1. check name resolution for client (local hosts entry or DNS)
2. test ping and telnet to the client on netbackup port
3. use bptestbpcd
