Hyper-V Guests backups never finish

robbiecookie11

Hi all,

We are having problems backing up the Hyper-V guests on one of our hosts. When the jobs run they appear as Type:SNAPSHOT and State:ACTIVE forever - the jobs never fail until we manually cancel them. The longest we have left these running is 5 days and at no point is any data written. I have compared the job policies to another Hyper-V host that is working and can't see any differences.

Can somebody help me resolve this problem? I can confirm that all of the guests have the Hyper-V integration services installed and that all hosts & guests can communicate with the backup server.

Many thanks

Robbie
